Not every patient will have two options. Every option shown must first be approved by the doctor.

We'll tell you. Smiletrue only takes cases where doctor-led aligner therapy is the right clinical choice. If aligners aren't right for you, we'll tell you and point you toward a better path.
Possibly. If your case is clinically appropriate for aligner therapy, our Relapse programs (Relapse Mini and Relapse Full) are designed for patients who previously completed orthodontic treatment and have experienced shifting.
When you book a consultation, a $50 refundable appointment hold is placed on your card. It is fully refunded if you cancel with enough notice. Nothing else is charged until you choose a treatment plan and confirm payment.
Your doctor is matched based on your location and case complexity. You can ask your Smile Guide questions about your doctor at any point. Their credentials, experience, and approach are always available to you.
Every plan includes a doctor-approved treatment plan, one plan adjustment if needed, a set of retainers, and remote progress check-ins. There are no lab fees, no shipping charges, and no per-aligner fees.
